I had an intriguing conversation with April which really had me thinking, decided to blog about it. April's awesome btw, just want to point that out.
8th grade year was a very memorable year for me. A lot of things happened; good and bad. I was definitely different than I was last year. I learned a lot of things beyond academics that made my life easier and taught me how to live my life even more better. I regret some of the things I did and didn't do this year. Being shy definitely held me back on a lot of things and I regret not doing the things I've could have done. Also this year, I was outside more, chilling with friends as much as possible. As opposed to last year and the year before that, I've been more outgoing.
I've matured a lot ever since last year. A lot of things arn't funny anymore and I grew out of a lot of things. When people tell me something very unexpected or something that really opens my attention (can't find the right word at the moment), I try not to make a big deal out of it. I either change the subject, or continue to talk to the person(s) until the stigma or the awkwardness between the person and I goes away. As you start to mature, you learn how to take things that are told or handed to you and the appropiate action you should take. Also, maturing has made me more open-minded to things by thinking about all sides of the situation and how both sides are affected by the other one's actions.
I kept a tight knit group. I'm on that "like everyone, trust no one" status. I'm very sociable and considered a lot of people as friends, but I'm very picky in using the phrase "true or good friends." I keep a lot of feelings and comments to myself, and I try not to tell people unless I really trust them. I can say that I can only count the amount of friends that I can trust no matter what with only one hand.
I learned that being mad at people and holding grudges isn't going to make your life any enjoyable. I mean, I get mad and irritated a lot, but I get over it and brush it off. I missed a lot of things by being mad at people and holding grudges. I also learned that you're not going to win everything. I learned a lot from my failures and mistakes.
Since highschool is on its way, you start off fresh. You can be whoever you want to be, you get a chance to reinvent yourself. If you want to change something about yourself then do it, here's your chance. As for myself, I'm thinking hard over the summer and ways I can reinvent my self, by opening doors that were too shy of being opened and revealed.
* Original post was longer, but I forgot to save. I'll update this again later.

Great Week.
Thursday:
School was the same as it always is. Went by slow. Came to school with a massive headache and all of the immaturity that was going in the morning annoyed me a little. I presented my science fair project. Speaking in front of people is so easy now. Lunch was chill, got a stain from lotion on my hoodie, haha. 6th period was aiiiight. The "Dream Team" gave a great presentation, hella lufet , props.
Chilled at downtown at Matt. Went to the library to feed ducks, then Starbucks, then back to the library to chill. Seems like Fresh Fits is always closed, but whatevs, I didn't have money anyways. Some crazy lazy at the Farmers' Market yelled at me for no reason, was pretty funny actually. I wanted to talk back, but her children were there and I didn't know what I did to make her mad, so it wasn't worth it. I would rewrite what happened, but I don't wanna type more, so I'll just copy and paste.
Me (8:00:24 PM): Okay so Matt had this hella delicious strawberry frappucino, and he had me hold it. I hella drank out of it and Matt was like " AWWW JOHN WTF" then some crazy Mexican lady stepped on gum and she thought it was mine, because of Matt started laughing really loud.
Me(8:00:57 PM): She was like "Do you have a piece of paper that I can fold up and show how to put it in a trashcan for you? Do you even know what a trash can looks like?"
Me (8:01:10 PM): I was like wtf, I didn't do anything and she walked away.
Me (8:04:12 PM): Then we were out at the duck pond, this one lady's baby was crying because some homeless dude's dog was in the water and it scared her. She was like, " DOES ANYONE OWN THIS FUCKING DOG? TAKE THIS FUCKING DOG OUT OF THE POND, THIS PEICE OF SHIT BELONGS ON A LEASH!"
Friday:
I woke up feeling really sick, I thought I had a fever. Went to school and bought my Dk ticket (really put a hole in my pocket). Felt sick for the rest of the day until lunch. Builders club made my day better. Picking up trash around the school was pretty weaksauce, and Ericka and I cheated by going through the trash can, hahaha. The rest of the meeting was pretty cool.
Saturday:
Today was the Pancake Breakfast for B.C. Woke up at 6 and I went to school at around 7. I helped make the syrup cups and gave people refills. Once everyone left, Ms. Grover made us pancakes, which were delicious. I accidently elbowed Mr.Walpole in the face when he grabbed my back; gotta blame reflexes. Spent the rest of the day conversing with friends. It was a great way to start off a Saturday.

Blah.
Really stressed out right now. I have two projects due next week, and I haven't even started. Its the last month of school, and I've been slacking off lately. After these two projects are done plus the memorization I gotta do, I'll be pretty much done with school. On another note, I need to sell some of my shoes. Kinda lost interest in shoes, so I'm thinking about selling most of them and keeping only 1 or 2.
Btw, one of my favorite choreos.
